According to the National Weather Service the greatest threat of severe weather Thursday will be along a line roughly from Demopolis to Clanton to Anniston.

According to the National Weather Service, a surface low will track northeast across Alabama during the day, creating an increase in wind shear and instability.

The factors will work together to produce a low threat of severe weather. Damaging straight-line winds will be the main threat, but the potential for isolated tornadoes during the afternoon hours exists.
