John “Johnny” William Macon

John “Johnny” William Macon, 46, of Jemison died Thursday, Dec. 1, 2011.He was born Wednesday, April 7, 1965, in Michigan, son of the late John Harland Macon and Chestine Macon.

Surviving are his mother, Chestine Macon of Jemison; two sisters, Rose (Jody) Landrum of Jemison and Tisha (Billy) Wells of Jemison; brother, Ray (Jennifer) Macon of Jemison; nieces, Rae Lynn Liveoak of Jemison, Joanna Landrum of Jemison and Ashley Wells of Jemison; and numerous uncles and aunts.

He was preceded in death by his father, John Harland Macon.

Friends will be received from  6-8 p.m., Friday, Dec. 2 at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.

Services will be held Saturday, Dec. 3 at 11 a.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. David Bishop and the Rev. Doug Powell officiating.

Interment will follow in Midway Memorial Gardens in Jemison.
