Entry forms to be in the Clanton Christmas Parade are now available. Copies of the parade application are available at Clanton City Hall and The Clanton Advertiser.

The parade will begin at 6 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 2. Lineup begins at 4:30 p.m. This year’s grand marshal will be Fox 6 anchor Beth Shelburne.

Any entrant that wants to be considered for prizes must be in place and completely decorated by 5 p.m. that evening.

Applications to be in the parade must be received no later than Thursday, Dec. 1.

Drivers of vehicles in the parade must sign a release and waiver of liability and show a valid driver’s license and proof of vehicle insurance on the day of the parade to participate. More rules and regulations can be found on the parade application.

The Rotary Club of Chilton County sponsors the parade each year.
