Billingsley turned the ball over five times Friday at Flomaton, squandering any chance they had to compete in the first round of the playoffs.
The Hurricanes won, 53-16, and essentially decided the outcome by halftime by carrying a 41-8 edge into the locker room.
Carlos Caver did everything for Billingsley. He scored on a 2-yard run in the fourth quarter, ran in the 2-point conversion, led the team in rushing with 10 carries for 37 yards, led the team in receiving yards with 50 on two catches and led the team in tackles with 10. He also recorded a sack on defense.
Preston Wallace completed seven passes in 19 attempts for 106 yards and a 14-yard scoring strike to Trey Tyus in the first half of the game. Wallace then found Andrew Dudley for the 2-point conversion.
