Red Devils shut out Sunshine

Maplesville outscored host Sunshine 29-0 in the first quarter Friday and went on to win, 69-0.
Brintain Hill had three rushing touchdowns in the first quarter, and Maplesville also scored on a 38-yard pass from Colby Chambers to Dustin Stephen and on a safety when Sunshine’s punter ran out of the back of the end zone.
Chambers completed six passes in eight attempts for 100 yards.
Brandon Morrow had an 18-yard touchdown reception from Chambers in the second quarter.
Alex Payne scored on a 1-yard run before halftime, and Cameron Morrow had a 20-yard interception return for a touchdown.
In the second half, Trevor Wallace, Troy Harrison and Will Harrison all scored on short runs.
MHS (9-0 overall, 7-0 region) amassed 152 rushing yards and held Sunshine to minus-24 total yards.
