Maplesville wins shortened game

Maplesville won at Holy Spirit, 42-0, Friday in a game that was called after one half of play because of a power outage.
Before the lights went out, MHS (3-0) held their hosts to minus-5 total yards of offense.
Several Red Devils scored, including Dustin Stephens on a 60-yard punt return and on a 30-yard pass from Colby Chambers, Anthony Johnson on a 15-yard pass from Chambers, Cameron Morrow on a 70-yard run, Brintain Hill on a 20-yard run and Trevor Wallace on a run.
Chambers completed four passes in five attempts for 48 yards.
