Clanton City Hall, Jemison City Hall, Maplesville Town Hall and Thorsby Town Hall will be closed on Sept. 5 for Labor Day.

For Clanton residents, trash pickup will begin at 6 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 5.

The Clanton Planning Commission meeting will be on Tuesday, Sept. 13 at 4 p.m. at City Hall, and the next City Council meeting will be Sept. 12 at 5 p.m. at City Hall.

For Jemison residents, Labor Day will not affect regular trash pickup on Tuesday, Sept. 6. The next Jemison City Council meeting will be on Monday, Sept. 19 at 6 p.m.

For Maplesville and Thorsby residents, trash will not be collected until Tuesday, Sept. 6.

The Thorsby City Council will meet on Tuesday, Sept. 6 at 6 p.m.

Police and fire departments in all areas will be open on Sept. 5.
