Grace Nolen is a Peach Queen — again.

Nolen was crowned the 2011 Young Miss Peach Queen on Monday night. She previously spent a year as Little Miss Peach Queen in 2009.

Nolen, the 9-year old daughter of Mark and MaryAnn Nolen, is a resident of Clanton. She attends Clanton Intermediate School and was sponsored by Nolen Land and Timber, Inc.

“[I was] excited,” she said, upon hearing her name announced. “I thought about what a fun year I would have.”

Nolen also won the casual attire portion of the event.

Twenty-nine girls between the ages of eight and 10 participated in the pageant.

Nolen’s court included first alternate Samantha Wyatt, second alternate Lauren Hay, third alternate Grayson Gann and fourth alternate Addison Minor.

Completing the top 10 were Kassidy Payne, Claea Bice, Claire Staggs, Katherine Speaks and Kaley Easterling.

A new category for 2011, the Viewer’s Choice, was awarded to Hailey Bice.
