Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Hayes of Billingsley proudly announce the engagement of their daughter, Shanna Christine, to Kaylon Kelsey Cole, son of Mr. and Mrs. Steve Cole and the late Shana Busby Cole of Selma.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Hayes of Billingsley, Mr. and Mrs. George Nassaney of Selma, and the late Dewey Lenoir of Jones.

She is a graduate of Maplesville High School and a graduate of the University of Alabama with a Bachelor’s Degree in food science and nutrition. She is presently employed by About Thyme Catering.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Barbara Smelser of Ralph and the late Kelsey Cole of Montgomery, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Godsy of Selma, and the late William H. Busby Jr. of River Oaks.

He is a graduate of Meadowview Christian and a graduate of Shelton State with a degree in industrial electronics. He is presently employed by Hunt Refining.

The couple will be married at 7 p.m. June 4 at Autauga Vegas in Autaugaville.
