Lindsay Kathryn Lowery and Johnathon Michael Deitrick are happy to announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Jeffrey Glenn and Susan Dennis Lowery of Jemison. She is the granddaughter of the late Claude and Javerne Lowery of Jemison and James and Linda Dennis of Cooper.

She is a 2009 Jemison High School graduate who attended Jefferson State Community College for business communications.

The prospective groom is the son of Rudy Deitrick of Williamstown, N.J. and Cheryl Deitrick of Jemison. He is the grandson of Clyde and  Brenda Green of Clanton and Ruth and Don Perkins of Wyoming, Del. He is the great-grandson of Pearl Taylor of Wyoming, Del.

He is a 2008 Jemison High School graduate who is studying information systems at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.

The wedding is June 11 at the Jemison City Hall auditorium at 3 p.m. Invitations have been sent. The couple will reside in the Collins Chapel community.
