Brasher-Roberts

Julie Elizabeth Brasher and William Brett Roberts were married Oct. 16, 2010, at Southern Magnolia Plantation in Montevallo.

The bride is the daughter of Harland and Rita Brasher of Jemison, and the granddaughter of Gerald Mullins and Barbara Wise, and the late Harland Brasher Sr. and the late Betty Brasher. She is a 2007 graduate of Jemison High School and a graduate of the University of Montevallo.

The groom is the son of David and Jill Roberts, and the grandson of the late Arlie and Bessie Langston, and Donald and Evelyn Roberts. He is a 2000 graduate of Maplesville High School.

Kayla Brasher served as the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Christy Chapman, Carrie Smith, Heather Foshee and Ashley Franks. Flower girls were Emma Thrash and Ragean Mullins.

Ryan Nwransky and Jeffrey Roberts served as best men. Groomsmen were David Calloway, Curt Groom, Brad Lucas and Travis Burnett. Junior groomsman was Ryan Mullins, and the ring bearer was Cohen Ellison.

The bride and bridesmaid carried of mixture of fall flowers, including sunflowers. The bride wore an antique ivory gown. The bridesmaids’ dresses were sunset in color.

The couple will reside in Jemison.
