Several local governments have changed their regularly scheduled meetings this month because of the Christmas and New Year’s holidays.

The Clanton City Council will have their second meeting of the month on Tuesday, Nov. 28 at 5 p.m. at Clanton City Hall. They would have normally met the fourth Monday of the month.

The Jemison and Thorsby councils voted to cancel their second meetings of the month. Their next scheduled meeting will both be Monday, Jan. 3.

The Chilton County Board of Education moved its meeting from Tuesday, Dec. 21 to Tuesday, Nov. 14.

The Chilton County Commission voted to not change its second meeting of the month, which will be held Monday, Dec. 27 at 6 p.m. in the courthouse’s basement auditorium.
