Nolvis Mae Rasberry Childress, 75, of Jemison died Sunday, Nov. 28, 2010, at Shelby Baptist Medical Center in Alabaster.
She was born Thursday, Dec. 20, 1934, in Chilton County, daughter of the late James Claude Mims and the late Gladys Sanders Mims.
She was a secretary.
Surviving are her husband, Frank Childress of Jemison; son, Randy Rasberry of Plano, Texas; daughter, Debi Blackmon of Boaz; grandchildren, Amy Fouche, Jenny Anthony, Chris Babbs, Ryan Blackmon, Michael Blackmon, Sandra Rasberry and Ethan Rasberry; five great grandchildren; and brother, Raymond Mims of Jemison.
Friends will be received from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 1 at Jemison First Baptist.
Services will be held Wednesday, Dec. 1 at 1 p.m. at Jemison First Baptist Church.
Interment will follow in Midway Memorial Gardens in Jemison.
