Mary Evelyn Evans, 76, of Verbena died Tuesday, Aug. 24, 2010.
She was born Monday, Oct. 30, 1933, in Chilton County, daughter of the late William Grady Billingsley and the late Evelyn Elizabeth Willis Billingsley.
She was a homemaker.
Surviving are her husband, Vernon C. Evans of Verbena; daughter, Beth Ousley of Verbena; three sons, Mark Ousley of Verbena, Terry (Charlotte) Ousley of Verbena and Keith (Michelle) Evans of Verbena; two step-daughters, Jeanie (Joel) Stephens of Hope Hull and Kathy Evans of Pennsylvania; 14 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; two brothers, the Rev. Bill (Carolyn) Billingsley of Verbena and Clark (Gayle) Billingsley of Warner Robins, Ga.; and sister, Sharon (Dan) Shirah of Billingsley.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Grady and Evelyn Billingsley; and husband, Henry Thomas Ousley Jr.
Friends will be received from 6-8 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 26 at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.
Services will be held Friday, Aug. 27 at 11 a.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bert Tippett officiating.
Interment will follow in Chestnut Creek Baptist Cemetery in Verbena.
