Imogene Yvonne Cobb Maddox, 86, of Jemison died Wednesday, Aug. 25, 2010.
She was born Saturday, June 28, 1924, in Chilton County, daughter of the late Berney L. Cobb and the late Mattie McGraw Cobb.
She was a homemaker.
Surviving are her two daughters, Mrs. Jetta Pierce of Jemison and Mrs. Euleta (Richard) Guy of Jemison; two granddaughters, Mrs. Trinity (Darrell) Harris of Jemison and Mrs. Valerie (Monty) Gentry of Jemison; great-grandchildren, Dara and Natalie Harris, Blake and Patrick Gentry; and sister, Mrs. Gwen Gillespie Green of Tennessee.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Osmond J. Maddox; son-in-law, Mr. Robert E. (Peter) Pierce; parents, Mr. and Mrs. B. L. Cobb; sister, Fraulein Lowery; sister, Berneydean Maddox; brother, Lloyd Cobb; brother, Leo Cobb; and brother, Ted Cobb.
Friends will be received from 5-8 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 26 at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.
Services will be held Friday, Aug. 27 at 2 p.m. at Center Hill Baptist Church.
Interment will follow in Center Hill Baptist Cemetery.
