An election forum for candidates running for sheriff, superintendent of education and state representative will be held next month.

The forum will be Monday, Sept. 13 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the new Municipal Complex in Jemison. Auburn University’s Jim Seroka will moderate the forum.

Candidates for sheriff Kevin Davis and Terry Wilson, candidates for superintendent of education Jason Griffin, Dave Hayden and Louise Pitts, and candidates for state representative Jimmy Martin and Kurt Wallace are all scheduled to appear. Chilton Leadership, the Chilton County Chamber of Commerce and the Chilton County Extension will sponsor the forum.
