Pinedale Assembly of God Church honored Pastor Thurmond Cleckler and his wife, Myrtis, on Sunday, July 25, 2010, with a pastor appreciation dinner.

The dinner was held to thank the Clecklers for 30 years of ministry and service to the church, its members and the community.

Various members and officers of the church expressed their appreciation for the tireless work Cleckler and his family has provided over the years. All of the church’s building improvements were outlined, as well as the church’s strong support of mission trips.
The celebration concluded with a commemorative cake that read “30 Years of Service” and a monetary gift to the Clecklers.

Cleckler closed the service by saying that whatever had been accomplished during their time of ministry could not have been done without the help of the Lord and willing members of the church.
