Jury duty scheduled for Monday, Aug. 16 at 8:30 a.m. in Judge Sibley Reynolds’ courtroom has been cancelled because all criminal cases have been settled, Chilton County Circuit Clerk Glenn McGriff announced Wednesday.

Anyone who received a summons to appear at the courthouse on the listed date and time does not need to report, McGriff said.

“We appreciate their willingness to serve,” he said. “The cases have been settled, and there is no need to show up.”
