Harvey Donald Schultz, 81, of Clanton died Saturday, May 29, 2010, at his residence in Clanton.
He was born Saturday, March 23, 1929, in Wisconsin, son of the late Harvey Carston Schultz and the late Julia Miller Schultz.
He was retired from the U.S. Army after 20 years of service and was also retired from the Civil Service in the Department of Defense after 30 years of service.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Barbara J. Schultz of Clanton; son, Mr. Terry Schultz of Norcross, Ga.; daughter, Mrs. Pam (John) Whitehead of Watkinsville, Ga.; two sisters, Mrs. June Stanford of Ricine, Wis. and Mrs. Margie Griggs of Camas, Wash.; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Services were held Tuesday, June 1 at 11 a.m. at Martin Chapel with the Rev. Matt DeBord, the Rev. Billy Boatwright and the Rev. John Whitehead officiating.
Interment will follow in Martin Memorial Cemetery in Clanton.
