James Lenoir

James Arthur “Boogie” Lenoir, 58, of Centre passed away Sunday, Dec. 27, 2009, at his residence.
He was born April 4, 1951, in Alabama, son of the late James Oliver Lenoir and the late Bea Hicks Caver Lenoir.
He was a painter.
Surviving are his wife, June Lenoir of Centre; two sons, Jason (Evelyn) Lenoir of Freeport, Fla. and Kyle Lenoir of Freeport, Fla.; sister, Jeanette Lenoir (Tony Jr.) Hughes of Clanton; brother, David “BoBo” (Cheryl) Lenoir of Pintlala; 10 grandchildren; two nieces; three nephews; and two stepsons, Ricky (Michelle) Mobley and Jamey (Kasey) Mobley.
Services will be held Wednesday, Dec. 30 at 11 a.m. at Hillcrest Baptist Church with the Rev. Doug Powell and the Rev. William Short officiating.
Interment will follow in Pilgrim Rest Cemetery in Maplesville.
