Earl Ellison

Earl Washington Ellison, 89, of Clanton died Wednesday, Dec. 2, 2009, at Chilton Medical Center.
He was born Sunday, Feb. 22, 1920, in Chilton County, son of the late Lee Ellison and the late Charlie Mae Williamson.
He was a salesman.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Myrtle Headley Ellison of Clanton; two sons, Mr. Roger Dale (Faye) Ellison of College Grove, Tenn. and Mr. Randall Keith (Pat) Ellison of Clanton; three daughters, Mr. Judy E. (David) Messick of Atmore, Mrs. Phenita E. (Dan) Rudd of Molenia, Fla. and Mrs. Shelia E. (Dudley) Fountain of Atmore; sister, Mrs. Minnie Lou Miller of Atmore; 16 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
Friends will be received from 5-8 p.m., Friday, Dec. 4 at Martin Funeral Home.
Services will be held Saturday, Dec. 5 at 1 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home with the Rev. Billy Boatwright and the Rev. W.T. Cleckler officiating.
Interment will follow in Chilton Memorial Gardens in Clanton.
