Carolyn McCary Benoit, 66, of Clanton died Tuesday, Nov. 17, 2009.
She was born Tuesday, Feb. 16, 1943, in Alabama, daughter of the late George Houston Mims and the late Margie Nell Lewis Mims.
She worked for the U.S. Postal Service.
Surviving are her husband, Mr. Todd Benoit of Clanton; and son, Mr. Mark G. McCary of Fairhope.
She was preceded in death by her son, Mr. Randall Keith McCary.
Services will be held Thursday, Nov. 19 at 1p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Donnie Messer officiating.
Interment will follow in Martin Memorial Cemetery in Clanton.
