Maplesville on Friday built a 21-0 lead at American Christian Academy and rolled to a 28-0 non-region win.

Quarterback Matt Hamner started the scoring with a 12-yard run.

The Red Devils (9-1, 7-1 Class 1A, Region 3) also scored on a 91-yard kickoff by Hunter McCay, a 76-yard pass from Hamner to Darrell Goodwin and a 5-yard run by Cameron Morrow.

McCay ran nine times for 100 yards, and Brintain Hill had 53 yards on 11 carries.

Hamner completed three passes in five attempts for 120 yards.

Anthony Johnson paced the defense with 12 tackles, and Goodwin had 10 tackles.

Tyler Crumpton intercepted two ACA passes.
