Relay for Life supporters met Tuesday night to start planning next spring’s community fundraiser for the American Cancer Society.

The committee discussed their monetary goals for 2010 and upcoming dates that will lead up to the April 30 event.

The annual kickoff will likely be held in early January. An exact location and date has not been set.

The committee is also looking for teams to participate in Relay. Last year, about 65 teams turned in fundraising money.
