A Clanton woman is organizing a meeting Saturday to discuss what she sees as injustices in the 19th Judicial Circuit Court.

Brandy Knight has reserved the pavilion at City Park from 1-3 p.m. for a political rally, according to the city clerk’s office.

Knight said the time would be used to discuss unfairness in the court system and ways to encourage and seek more candidates in the next election.

“It’s an ongoing thing with this in this county. I’ve talked to many, many people about this,” said Knight. “I have seen it personally, but if it was just about me and my family, I would take it and be a woman, but I’m seeing a lot of unfairness.”
