Vera Kathleen Ferguson, 88, of Clanton died Saturday, Sept. 26, 2009 at Resurrection Life Center in Deatsville.
She was born Sunday, Nov. 14, 1920 in Chilton County, daughter of the late Fred Holcombe and the late Ruth Noah Holcombe.
She was a sales clerk.
Surviving are her daughter, Mrs. Coylen Ferguson Headley of Prattville; two sons, Mr. Wayne Ferguson of Clanton and Mr. Michael Ferguson of Jacksonville, NC; five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild; and brother, Mr. Eurell Holcombe.
Graveside services were held Tuesday, Sept. 29 at 1 p.m. at Chilton Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Tony Smitherman officiating.
