William Alan Strong, 50, of Maplesville died Thursday, Aug. 6, at Shelby Baptist Medical Center in Alabaster.
He was born on Thursday, November 13, 1958 in Lakeland, FL, son of the late William Nathan Strong and Gloria Osborne Curvin.
He was a welder.
Surviving are his wife, Darlene Strong of Maplesville; two daughters, Sherri (Brandon) Tucker of Clanton and Laura Strong of Maplesville;four grandchildren; mother, Gloria (Melvin) Curvin of Lakeland, Fla; brother, Randall Dale (Brenda) Strong of Lakeland, Fla.; five sisters, Beverly Tracy Booker of Lakeland, Fla., Pamela Sullivan or Arizona, Patty Lewis of Butte, Mont., Peggy Agesta of Melbourne, Fla., Denise Boyd of Lakeland, Fla.; and aunt, Naomi (Lester) Stokes of Highland Home.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Sabrina Audra and Father, Nathan Strong.
Friends will be received from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 8 at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.
Services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, August 8 at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Aaron Argo officiating. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens in Maplesville.
