CCHS soccer ties Shades Mtn.

Chilton County’s soccer team traveled to Shades Mountain Christian on April 3 and tied the Eagles, 5-5, in a non-section game.
The game started with Shades Mountain scoring quickly but CCHS answering right back with a goal from Dolman Lopez to tie it 1-1.Shades Mountain then scored with a penalty kick, but this time Noe Chavez answered with a goal for the Tigers (2-2, 1-1 section), making it 2-2.Daniel Garcia gave the guests the lead at 3-2, but Shades Mountain tied it before halftime.
The second half started with Lopez scoring his second goal of the game to make the score 4-3. Again, Shades Mountain answered and tied it.Omar Sosa, the Tigers goalie, stepped in on the defense and scored to make the score 5-4, but Shades Mountain immediately came back and scored and the game ended tied.
The Tigers will meet Sylacauga at 6 p.m. on April 7 at Tiger Stadium for a Class 5A, Section 3 game.
