1920-2009
Burleigh Louise Hare, 88, of Maplesville died Tuesday, March 17, at her residence.
She was born Wednesday, Oct. 13, 1920 in Alabama, daughter of the late Burleigh Evans and the late Fannie Evans. She was a fashion advisor.
Surviving are daughters, Betty R. Smitherman of Maplesville and Shirley Turner of Chatham; son, Bill Hare of Montevallo; seven grandchildren, a host of great-grandchildren.
A Memorial service will be held today, March 20, at 11 a.m. at Union Springs Baptist. No flowers, please. Martin Funeral Home directing.
