Herbert Calvin Johnson, 80, of Clanton died Tuesday, March 3, at Chilton Medical Center, Clanton.
He was born on Sunday, Feb. 24, 1929 in Alabama, son of the late McKinley Johnson and the late Alma Dobbs Johnson.
He was a painter.
Surviving are his wife, Lorene Johnson of Clanton; two sons, Mike (Tamey) Johnson of Clanton and Kevin (Stephanie) Johnson of Valdosta, Ga.; grandchildren; Cody, Tracey, Katie, Logan and Nicholas; great-granddaughter; Sarah; sister, Bernice Caver of Clanton.
Services will be held Friday, March 6, at 1 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Charles Brooks officiating.
Interment will follow in Martin Memorial Cemetery located in Clanton.
