Both the Thorsby Town Council and Jemison’s City Council have cancelled their regular meetings scheduled for Monday night.

Thorsby elected not to meet because they held a work session the previous week. Some of Jemison’s city leaders will be out of town, and others have family members who are sick.

Although Monday is Presidents’ Day, both Thorsby Town Hall and Jemison City Hall will observe regular business hours. Customers should take note that Thorsby is closed for lunch from noon to 1 p.m.
