Many times, we focus on the hard work of student-athletes in sports. We also realize there are many other students in schools who work just as hard as those involved in sports.

A good example of this is the Jemison High School Blue Regiment Band. They recently performed at District Assessment where they received all superior ratings from the judges. These students have spent time at school and at home rehearsing music to get ready for this contest.

However, they aren’t the only ones. We would like to recognize all students who go the extra mile.
