Glenda Sue Edwards, 56, of Jemison died Saturday, Jan. 24, at Brookwood Medical Center, Birmingham.
She was born on Saturday, Sept. 27, 1952 in Bessemer, daughter of the late Amery Lee Weaver and the late Annie Lee Dailey Weaver. She was a CNA.
Surviving are her husband, Claudy S. Edwards of Jemison; three daughters, Yolanda (Johnny) Jones of Greenville, Tenn., Tracy Dawson of Jemison, Kristy Payne of Jemison; six grandchildren, Claudia Dawson of Jemison, Samuel Dawson of Jemison, Andrea Payne of Jemison, Amery Lee Payne of Jemison, Jesse Jones of Greenville, Tenn., Megan Jones of Greenville, Tenn.; two sisters, Faye Eaton of McCalla, Shelby King of Oak Grove.
Services will be held today, Jan. 27, at 3 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Terry Harris officiating. Interment will follow in Mars Hill Baptist Cemetery, Jemison.
