We need a plan that will work

The latest unemployment numbers aren’t good for the state of Alabama and Chilton County. According to the Alabama Department of Industrial Relations, the jobless rate for December 2008 in Chilton County was 6.1 percent, which is almost double what it was at the same time in 2007. Now, there are 1,192 people that are without jobs in Chilton County.
This news is obviously not good, and it makes any kind of economic recovery package introduced by President Barack Obama’s administration very important.
We cannot afford to just put money into projects that won’t stimulate the economy. Our congressmen must work together with President Obama to create a plan that will work.
