Carol Jeanette Davis, 69, of Verbena died Monday, Dec. 8, at Baptist South, Montgomery.
She was born on Wednesday, Aug. 23, 1939, in Chilton County, daughter of the late Eddie Hudson and the late Myrtle Powell Hudson. She was a typesetter.
Surviving are her two sons, Mr. Russell Davis of Montevallo, Mr. Herbert (Beverly) Davis of Wetumpka; daughter, Mrs. Pam D. (Richard) Maurer of Montgomery; five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; brother, Mr. Sonny Hudson of Montgomery.
Friends will be received from 12:30-1:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 11, at Martin Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside services will be held Thursday, Dec. 11, at 2 p.m. at Mountain Creek Cemetery, Marbury, with the Rev. Keith Edwards officiating.
