BESSEMER – Bessemer police are trying to find out who left a baby in a garbage bag along a city road.

Sgt. Darren Hunter said the boy is between two-weeks to a month old and is now in the custody of the Alabama Department of Human Resources.

Bessemer Fire Battalion Chief Kenny Ray said the infant was in good condition with good vital signs and was wearing a diaper when found.
