Doris Bolling

Doris Marie Bolling, 71, passed away on Nov. 28 at Prattville Rehab and Nursing Home, where she was a resident. Doris had previously lived in Thorsby and Georgiana. She was born on Aug. 30, 1937 to Hillra and Bernice Bolling Bolling of Georgiana, who preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Dec. 1 at Harrison Funeral Home in Greenville. Burial will follow at Providence Cemetery at Georgiana. Family will receive friends at Harrison Funeral Home from 9:30 a.m. until 11 a.m. on Monday prior to the funeral service.
Survivors include three brothers, Billy (Annie) Bolling of San Antonio, Texas, Norman (Brenda) Bolling of Satsuma, Neal Bolling of Georgiana; two sisters, Shelby Dowda and Nelda (Randy) Headley, both of Thorsby; five nieces, Debbie, Lisa, Denise, Erin and Kim; four nephews, Keith, John, Brian and Zac; three great-nieces; three great-nephews; and a number of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Doris will be remembered for her love of Elvis Presley, her love for her family and her special gift for getting everyone to see her point of view. Flowers are welcome, but you may also make donations to Thorsby First Baptist Church (P.O. Box 307, Thorsby, AL 35171) in Doris’ memory. The family wishes to thank and acknowledge the staff at Prattville Rehad and Nursing Home for their loving care of Doris during her time with them.
