Mr. and Mrs. David Betzhold and Kenny Smitherman are proud to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter Ashley Nicole Smitherman to Kyle Cox, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Cox of Thorsby.

Smitherman is the granddaughter of Robert and Laura Williams of Jemison, Willard Smitherman and the late Martha Ann Smitherman of Thorsby.

She is a 2007 graduate of Jemison High School and is employed with Dr. Joby Nurst Pediatric Dentistry.

Cox is the grandson of Edis Wilson and the late J.D. (Doug) Wilson of Clanton and the late Patricia and the late Billy O’Bryan of Thorsby. He is a 2003 graduate and is employed with diversified services.

The couple will marry on Oct. 25 at 4 p.m. at Mt. Carmel No. 1 church in Thorsby. All family and friends are invited to attend and celebrate this joyous event. The couple plans to reside in Thorsby.
