The Paws in the Park Adopt-A-Thon will be held Saturday from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. at Goose Pond Park.

Event officials are encouraging everyone to come out and adopt a dog or cat. There will be a pet costume contest at 3. There is a $5 entry fee for the contest. First, second and third place prizes will be awarded. Concessions will be sold as well.
