A domestic dispute in a parking lot ended in a man’s death Monday.

This morning, Calera Police Lt. Chuck Holcomb announced Bobby Lee Bray Jr, 28, of Brent, and Angela Yvonne Allen, 34, of Birmingham, were traveling south on U.S. 31 when a verbal altercation began in the vehicle at about 9:36 p.m.

The couple pulled over into the Fish Market Restaurant parking lot at 4570 U.S. 31, “where the altercation became physical which resulted in the male victim being stabbed,” Holcomb said. Bray was pronounced dead at the scene.

Holcomb said Allen has been arrested and charged with murder.
