Kassie Danielle Daniels on July 11 was accepted into the University of Alabama-Birmingham School of Nursing.

Kassie is a 2006 graduate of Chilton County High School and was valedictorian of her senior class. She is a multiple scholarship winner and honor student at UAB. Daniels is a member of the Alpha Lambda Delta National Honor Society and a supplemental instruction leader in chemistry at UAB. Kassie is also a member of the UAB Blazers colorguard and served as chairwoman for the UAB Campus Relay For Life. She is employed with the division of surgery, orthopedic trauma at UAB hospital.

Kassie is the daughter of Terri Daniels, the granddaughter of Bonnie Daniels and the niece of Greg and Meloney Daniels.
