Fourteen years ago, the Hayes family of Thorsby came back from the ASA World Archery Championships in Georgia with quite a haul. Garry, the father, came in 15th place out of 200 competitors in the Unlimited Freestyle division. Not to be outdone, Sharon, the mother finished third in the Women’s Pro division. But the performance of the event belonged to Terry, the son, who won the Amateur Youth division.
