Brooke Allison Frech and Michael Lee Thomas are pleased to announce their upcoming marriage.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Terrence and Dale Frech of Jacksonville, Fla.

Brooke is currently a nanny in Hoover and is working toward a bachelor’s degree in family and consumer sciences at the University of Montevallo.

The future bridegroom is the son of Marvin and Vickie Thomas of Jemison.

Michael is a graduate of Jemison High School and is currently a survey crew chief of Sain Associates in Birmingham.

The couple met in July 2006, and they were engaged Nov. 21, 2007. The wedding is planned for Oct. 11, 2008 at TurnBrooke Manor in Columbiana. All friends and family are invited.
