Dethel Honeycutt Guy, 94, of Clanton, died Wednesday, July 30, at Trinity Hospital, Birmingham.
She was born on Saturday, January 17, 1914 in Chilton County, daughter of the late Houston Honeycutt and the late Pearl Robinson Honeycutt.
She was a homemaker.
Surviving are her daughter, Betty G. (Bill) Latta; four grandchildren, Dr. Stacey (Dr. Carol) Headley, Leigh (Dr. Doug) Cound, Cindy (Gale) Mendenhall, Mary (Glen) Krause; seven great-grandchildren, Arthur Miles Headley, Shelby Guy Headley, Marcie (Jason) Boren, Hunter Roberts, Ana Krause, Virginia Leigh Cound, John Douglas Cound; two great-great Grandchildren, Hannah Boren, Blake Boren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arley Guy; and daughter, Vera Guy (Hunter) Roberts.
Friends will be received from 9:30-11 a.m., Saturday, Aug. 2, at Bell Lane Baptist Church, Clanton.
Services will be held Saturday, Aug. 2, at 11 a.m. at Bell Lane Baptist Church, Clanton, AL. with the Rev. Randy Billingsley; the Rev. Doug Powell; Faith Manley (Musician) and Dr. Stacey Headley officiating.
Interment will follow in Friendship Baptist Cemetery, Clanton.
