Enoch Junior “E.J.” Hayes

Enoch Junior “E.J.” Hayes, 76, of Maplesville died Wednesday, July 9 at Shelby Baptist Medical Center.
He was born on Monday, Jan. 11, 1932 in Chilton County., Alabama, son of the late William Enoch Hayes and the late Ethel Landers.
He was an aircraft mechanic.
Survivors include his wife, Marlene B. Hayes of Maplesville; four daughters, Janice (Jerry) Franklin of Jemison, Debra Orange of Clanton, Kathryn (Jerry) Smith of Valley Grande, Laura (Terry) Liveoak of Jemison; 10 grandchildren; three sisters, Zannie Roseberry of Clanton, Vonzell Roseberry of Maplesville, Catherine Gentry of Clanton.
Friends will be received from 6-8 tonight, July 10 at Martin Funeral Home. Services will be held Friday, July 11, at 11 a.m. at Sardis Baptist Church with the Rev. Ken Brand, the Rev. Fred Donovan and the Rev. Willard Ratliff officiating. Interment will follow in Sardis Baptist Cemetery, Maplesville.
